Neko is a true barnyard mix.

Her grandparents were all purebreds: Barnevelder, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Blue Copper Marans and Japanese Black Tailed Buff bantam. Some people look down on crosses, but I think she’s got gorgeous patterning.
Last year, I had 17 hens go broody. I re-homed Neko after she went broody for the second time. Better to pass on her great skills to someone who’d appreciate them.
