My first standard rooster, Thomas, is a purebred Silver Laced Polish x Easter Egger, who came from an olive egg.

He was born and raised here, with my bantam rooster, Isaac. Unfortunately Thomas wasn’t happy being the subordinate rooster and their size difference meant Isaac’s safety was at risk.

Thomas went off to live on acreage outside of Duncan with a flock of hens and no competition.
