For a couple of months I dedicated most of my Bitchin’ Chickens time to writing articles and let the meme making slip a bit. I got on a roll recently and appreciate the quiet time I get to spend playing with the images, text and layout. It’s a different kind of creativity than writing hundreds of words at a go. Memes are a counterpoint to using the science or fact based side of my brain. And let’s face it, laughter serves to punctuate the everyday tasks associated with keeping chickens – which are sometimes far from fun.
